Sony VMCUAM1 Feedback

Sony VMCUAM1 Review by Desert View (Tucson, AZ USA)

The Sony VMCUAM1 USB Adapter Cable worked as advertised. I am using it with HDR-CX700v and a Seagate 500 GB drive. The downside to copying direct to a hard drive rather than to a laptop or other computer is the file date/time on the drive is the time of the transfer, rather than the date/time the file was recorded.

Sony VMCUAM1 Review by PaddyEDRN

Had recently purchased a Sony Handicam and needed this cable to transfer files from the camera to an external hard drive without using a PC. Worked perfectly, only had to take my passport drive and camera to Disney, no hassle of hauling a laptop with me.

Sony VMCUAM1 Review by Woody "Woody" (Omaha, Nebraska)

This is a must have item if you own a Handy Cam, I can drop all images and video to an external harddrive through this cable.

Air King BFQ 75 Review

Air King BFQ 75 Review by Madding Crowd

This is a great fan. I purchased for our small bathroom and it's doing the job nicely and quietly. I sometimes wonder if I should have purchased one with a larger CFM rating, but this matched our bathroom size.

Air King BFQ 75 Review by kjvp

I bought this fan to replace a 20-yr old fan (typical cheap fan installed at construction time) that had finally started rattling and broke down..
The good news is that the fan is quiet, much quieter than the old one. We can have a normal conversation in the bathroom now!
The installation was tricky and cost me quite some sweat and head-scratching... As some reviewers have already pointed out, the theory behind the installation is sound, but unfortunately, it isn't that easy. In existing building with drywall on the ceiling, it is virtually impossible to hook it into the bottom of the bracket and rotate it up to snap it in. That requires a bigger hole than I was willing to cut. I had to take the plastic duct attachment off to create some extra space, and carefully enlarge the hole a tiny bit to let the tabs for the duct attachment go through. Sound complicated, but you'd know immediately what I meant if you saw the fan.
In any case, with the hole slightly larger all around (about 1/8" clearance all around), I was able to wiggle the fan in from the bottom, hook it into the bottom of the bracket and snap it up. The rest was simple. I'm not an electrician, but it took me 5 mins for the electricity, 10 mins to attache some new ducting (replace 3" with 4"), and a couple of hours to fit the fan.. Would have gone faster if I had not had to crawl in the attic from one side of the house to the other every time I needed to go up or down..

I do not agree that the joist bracket is weak. Yes, you can bend it, but it does not seem weaker than any other bracket to me. Just don't go wild and you'll be fine.

In all, it take more than 10 minutes to install, but we're happy with the fan. I WILL order another one, but this time, I'll be prepared better anf it will go faster..

Air King BFQ 75 Review by Nate (Alaska)

The mounting bracket is flimsy and requires a little tweaking to get the unit to stay place. Other than that, the unit is so quiet that it is difficult to tell if the fan is on. Incredible value!!

fit fine, did have to wash a few times and go thru dryer to get a lot of the lint/fuzz stuff off but that is common with this type of fabric. thin for spring, summer and fall and looks great with a heavy blanket under it in the winter. worth the money.

Textile and Linen 729986203136 Review by wisdomstar (Michigan)

I bought this bedspread in sage green (king size) a week ago. The color is better than it looks here - a green with more yellow in it than olive - and a nice color for a summer spread. It is also the size I needed - it covers to the floor on a queen with an oversize mattress. I know covering to the floor is not 'in' but I am old-fashioned. It is a nice soft chenille. I did not wash it first because I had read one of the reviews above and did not have time for hassle. After a few days when I swiffered the wood floor I found quite an amount of green fuzz. That would not do. I have asthma and my husband has emphysema. (I had not noticed any chemical smell when I opened the package). So I washed it in cold water on a gentle cycle and it survived that without turning into a fuzzball. I started to tumble dry it and it took two 40 minute cycles to dry, but the amount of green fuzz in the dryer filter was unbelievable. At least an inch thick! both times. At that point it was also somewhat matted with fuzz, so back in the dryer it went even though it was dry. Two more cycles later and four inch-thick mats of fuzz in the filter, it was able to go back on the bed with minor brushing here and there to remove small spots of fuzz. In fifty years of washing and drying things I have never seen anything like it. So a 5 for color, softness and size. A 1 for lint and ease of washing. However, it looks nice now, so a 3.

Textile and Linen 729986203136 Review by Jennyth

So glad I read the reviews about washing it first! The lint collector in the dryer had to be emptied twice while it dried. Still, it is being used as a draped cover over an IKEA chair, and it is soft and looks very nice. Definitely good buy for the money, especially when compared to the cheap looking sofa covers available.

OXO 1071823 Review by Crypto0102 (Pittsburgh)

These are the best mixing bowls you could ever buy. The rubber base on the bottom is what makes them so nice. They dont slide around, extremely sturdy... and very easy to clean. I bought 3 of them... 3qt., and 2 X 1.5 qts.

OXO 1071823 Review by J. L. Foster (Ohio)

This bowl is perfect for anyone who likes to cook. Here are some of my favorite things about it:

1. Size makes it ideal for mixing just about anything. I use mine for homemade cookies, pizza dough, salads and much more.

2. Extremely easy to clean. Nothing sticks to it, inside or out. Mine still looks new after much use.

3. Not skid botton is terrific. Hate it when you are mixing something and the bowls shifts around? Not a problem here. This bowls stay right in place every time.

4. White coloring is very attractive. I have received many compliments on the quality and look of the bowl. For casual family gatherings I even use it as a serving bowl.

5. Right price. It is not too expensive. (Especially when I consider the Longaberger mixing bowl I bought prior to this one.)

I love this bowl and use it often. I find that it is of the same great quality as the OXO utensils I have.

OXO 1071823 Review by wiltstilt13 "wiltstilt13"

These bowls are great for mixing. We use ours all the time. Dishwasher safe. We have had ours for over a year. No complaints here.

I was looking forward to replacing my current watering system with this sprinker. However, after installing it leaked badly. I tried several times hoping it would not leak, but nothing worked. Also, to get it to spray in the right direction was also a challenge. Amazon was very good about my returning it. That was no problem at all. I do not recommend.

Quick-Snap QSK-742 Review by S. Huggins

We have had the sprinkler since 2010. I have it set up in the edge of my flowerbed and buried the garden hose under the mulch, so the hose stays attached all the time and there is no problem with the lawnmower. We left the hose and the sprinkler buried for the winter and had no problems. I do not run more than one sprinkler at the same time due to water pressure. My favorite thing about it is the fact that you don't have to keep adjusting it. Once you get it set the best way, you just turn on the water and your are ready to go.

Quick-Snap QSK-742 Review by Phillip Richardson (kansas)

I ordered 2 of these sprinklers late Thursday Aug. 11th and they arrived Monday Aug. 15th. Today, Tuesday Aug. 16th I got them out and read the one-sheet on how to install. I found the instructions easy to follow and within 30 minutes or less I had one in the ground and ready to go. I decided to not put the 2nd one in the ground tonight because it was pretty windy and when you put it in the ground you want the left edge of the spray pattern to go where you want it to and if the wind is blowing it might not give you an accurate area of where the water will shoot out as it stops on the left side of the rotation. This will make sense when you read the instructions. I will probably have to buy 2 more of these to cover my whole front yard although it might be doable with 2. Since our yard is more square it is ideal to put one in each of the 4 corners and have them spray towards the middle of the yard. my original plan was to try 2 and put them in opposite diagonal corners from each other to see if only 2 would cover the whole yard. will have to see when i get the 2nd one in the ground. Not sure if running 2 at the same time will cover the whole yard either or I might have to run 1 at a time. They seem very heavy duty and high quality. Handle with care though because the skinny pipe has a warning label on it that says it can break if you grab it wrong. So far so good! I love these!

Love the curtains, the Burgundy color was great, and the quality was probably 8 out of 10. I'm very happy with the purchase. The curtains block out all light. Obviously it comes in a small amount around the edges but if you overlap the curtain with the wall a few inches on top and sides it works great. Probably a 95% reduction in light. I think it does help for heat too, as to the noise reduction I would say it's minimal at best, I couldn't really tell that it did anything for noise.

Solid Thermal Insulated Back Tap Blackout Curtain 63"L- 1 Set-BEIGE - BT Review by CoolMan

We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of these curtains. I was a little apprehensive to purchase curtains online (unable to see material before buying), but I ordered based on the reviews & was impressed at how heavy and rich these are for the price. I did purchase a curtain rod at a local store, as I wanted to match up the curtain to the rod style. Fortunately, these curtains have slats that can hold even a large rod, and I preferred the thicker rod for aesthetics.
Functionally, the black curtains do indeed very effectively block out the street light outside. We were careful to place the rod as far out as we were able (we have a cut out window) to minimize light coming in through the sides. There is a small amount of light that still peaks at the very bottom because we didn't want them dragging on the sill seat, but all in all the coverage is impressive. Again, I ordered the black specifically because other reviewers noted that the darker colors block outside light more effectively. All in all, an excellent buy for a superior product. A++

Solid Thermal Insulated Back Tap Blackout Curtain 63"L- 1 Set-BEIGE - BT Review by Victor J. Herrera

Good quality. I didn't think the lighter colors would be to good blocking light but I know beige works very well.

Provo Craft & Novelty/ Cricut 2000536 Review by O. Dickinson "GRAM" (Alabama)

I purchased this cartridge to make Christmas cards and other Christmas crafts. This is a small cartridge but I like the images.

Provo Craft & Novelty/ Cricut 2000536 Review by Mary Ann O'Connell

I am very pleased with my purchase. The seller was easy to deal with, I had no issues and received the cartridge very quickly. I would definitely purchase from this seller again.

Provo Craft & Novelty/ Cricut 2000536 Review by Mary Frost "mrtshome"

I used pieces from the nativity set for my Christmas cards this year. They had flaps on the bottom to make them stand up and I had to manually cut that off, to use it for cards but there are many intersting pieces I'd never thought to find in this set! Cricut needs to put more photos on the outside of the box so you can see all possible ideas.
