I received the product intact as only the bottom is cast iron. The top is ceramic. Tangine cooking is remarkable. I've tried "simulated" Tagine cooking before, but owning a real Tagine makes all the difference. The food comes out perfectly cooked and very moist, which is the point. The only issue I have is that this Tagine is a bit small if one was to have dinner party type fare.

For centuries, North Africa has had access to a myriad of wonderful spices to complement the region's diverse selection of seafood and meats. The traditional method of cooking in North Africa--the Tagine--has been used for centuries to slow cook with these spices. Precious little water is needed to keep foods moist, and the unique design of the Tagine lid locks in the combination of flavors. The base in this model, made of cast iron, works with any heat source: gas, electric radiant or solid plates, ceramic, halogen, induction, and Aga-Rayburn-type stoves. I bought this phone based on consumer report reviews and the corded phone works great but the battery in the cordless phone is terrible. The battery dies after 1 hour of conference call. Then it would take at least 8 hours to recharge again.

I would not recommend this phone especially for business use.

I must have got a good one or something after reading some of the reviews. Mine works great, no problems. Of all the cordless phones I have had in the past, this one has more distance in between the base and extension than any of them, much farther than the 5.8 ghz phone I have in the shop. For the money, I don't think you can beat it. I've got much more expensive phones that don't work half as good as this one.

We decided to spend a little more money and go with a cordless phone that we could expand with. Along with this phone we purchase two additional handsets. What a big mistake. In less than a year, the LCD screen on two of the handsets doesn't work(no caller ID, previous caller etc.). The battery on the other handset doesn't hold a charge or indicates that you're out of range, get closer to the base.. when you're standing right next to it.

Needless to say we were very disappointed and are once again phone shopping.

Dribbles all over when you try to pour slow, and accurate (like for a manual pour over coffee filter, or smaller Asian teapots)..

I almost gave 3 STARS, but since this is a water kettle (and its basic function is to pour) It deserves 2=STARS doe such a serious flaw..

AND I FIGURED OUT WHY:
When you pour slow the large spout ends up straight and horizontal, which increases the tendency for the water to "wrap" around and dribbl down to the bottom of the pot (they use this trick on rain gutters to collect the water and sheds the pine needles behind)..

And I see the same complaint for other Le Creuset teapots..
I have the white ZEN..
Too bad because this is obviously a deal killer..

I WILL BE RETURNING THE ZEN WATER POT..
As another reviewer mentioned, it dribbles water everywhere (a lot of water).. You would think they would do a test pour before manufacturing a million of these.. I was barely able to pour onto a large mug.. When I tried to use the manual pour over coffee filter, it was not enjoyable..



MY THOUGHTS "BEFORE" I TRIED TO POUR..
Several people complained about the whistle being too soft.. I LOVE THIS FEATURE, since I keep the pot in the room with me.. I wish it were more quiet actually (I will probably open the flap and listen for the boil; I am only 52 and I still have my hearing, LOL).. My other enameled steel pot made in germany, but I was fearful of getting burnt with the steam (the ZEN lid fits tight; but I found the lid easy to remove (because I could pry again ST the handle).. Someone complained about rusting; I have had several pieces of Le Creuset for 4 years, and no hint of rust on any.. However, if the spout were to bang against something and case the enamel to flake off, I would expect rust (maybe thats what happened).. I like the large lid so I can clean it out when I need to.. I have found though that enamel doesnt need cleaning very often (my stainless seemed to always want to develop scum).. The enamel mates with the glass of the induction cooktop perfectly (its nice not to have that old electric scratching my enamel and looking ugly at the same time.. and heating up the room; as the induction cooker doesnt heat up the room nearly as much as the electric)..

LOVE MY NEW ALL CLASD INDUCTION HEATER (William Sonoma $300):
It heated 1/2 pot of water to FULL BOIL in 3 MIN, 45 SECONDS.. Then one click down on the dial kept the water right on the edge of a boil.. Another click and no boil.. Left it there a while, then 2 clicks up and FULL BOIL again in less than 5 seconds.. This is the best water heating setup in the world, LOL (but very expensive).. I also plan to use the $300 device for braising and slow cooking (I tried a blue two induction and it would not simmer so I had to return it).. The all clad simmers better than any stove (gas or electric), but it was a slightly fast simmer (and havent figured out if I can change it).

A few years ago while watching a Friends show I noticed a teakettle on the stove and thought it might be interesting to own a red teakettle after years of making tea in my coffee maker.

The result is a more pleasant and comforting tea experience. Not only do you drink the tea sooner, it tastes much better when the water is at a full boil. The whistle on this teakettle is amusing and you may have to adjust the temperature to get just the right whistle. Boiling the water too slowly produces a funny "who is that whistling" in my kitchen experience. At full boil, it gets your attention, but is never irritating. If you are really careful, you can remove the whistle and pour the water out immediately, but waiting a few seconds is probably advised.

The handle is very sturdy, unlike other teakettles that swing about as if you were not about to pour boiling water. This one feels very safe and the lid also fits very securely so there is no steam escaping out of the top and the handle never gets warm.

The color is a deeper dark cherry at the base and then it slowly changes to a beautiful cherry red at the top. A truly beautiful addition to your kitchen if you want to spice up your stovetop. This is an item you will want to leave out on the burners even when not in use.

This is truly an amazing kettle. It pours perfectly, Boils quickly, has a nice loud whistle, and is the most beautifully made kettle on the market. Dont let a couple of bad reviews turn you away from this amazing kettle, Those people are crazy! I love my tea kettle. Also It dosnt chip easily at all! I have knocked it on the stove very hard a couple of times and not one chip! I use this kettle for tea and to boil my daughters bottle water and it works wonderfully with no rust! I even leave the water in the kettle overnight!! MUST BUY! GREAT BUY!

Got this drive to replace a smaller drive, I installed this drive only to find out the drive was dead. Amazon had a no return on this drive. I contacted WD and they replaced the drive, but it cost me $13.00 to send the dead drive to them. I installed the replacement and glory and behold the drive is unreadable or writeable. I spent the next several days corresponding with WD on their try this see if that works. Tried about everything check desk won't work because drive is unreadable, formatting won't work there's way too many bad sectors I stopped counting them after 75. I finally got feed up told them I was not spending any more time or money jacking with this drive I just want my money back and I will get another brand. As it sets now I am using the drive as a paper weight that's all its good for. As I see it now either Amazon or WD owes me money, and so far I am just getting the pass the buck routine.

I'm using this stick with a saitek x52 throttle and saitek rudder pedals. The main game I'm playing is Rise Of Flight. This stick is easy to program; I'm using most of the buttons and one rotator for mixture. I reach all the buttons easily except the red button at the top left which is okay because it's still easier to reach than the keyboard. This stick has a great "feel"; it is light but not to light; you always know where the sick is in relation to the vertical. This is the perfect stick for ROF. I've never had a stick with this kind of quality and precision.

I bought this with the Pro Throttle (and coupled them with the CH Products Pro Pedals) to replace a malfunctioning HOTAS from another manufacturer. Needless to say, the extra cost was well worth it. This is a solid stick, and you can ask any flight simmer and they will tell you that CH Products last and are high quality. And the best part: Made in the USA! The programming software isn't as intuitive as others I've used, but it is manageable. I use this for Lock On:FC2, Falcon 4.0 Allied Force, and Flight Simulator X. It's a superb piece of equipment.

Wife Writing:
Love this Carrier because it is light weight and small. PERFECT for areas like kitchens and shopping. I strap my baby on my back during grocery shopping and then my hands for free to corral my 4 and 2 year old...oh and my groceries :P My 10 month old can fit fine and I can carry him for hours. He's a big kid too...wearing 12-18mo clothes. No back aches! There are only two things they could improve the design on. First: a handle on the back above the pocket. There is nothing to hang on to when taking the pack off, other than the pocket lid...which will wear out over time. and 2nd: the kick stand clicks shut but does NOT click open when setting down the carrier. I have found this dangerous at times when setting him on a smooth surface like wood or tile. The kick stand will start closing and the carrier can fall over very easily. So, be careful of that! I would buy this all over again for the purposes of around the house and tight areas. Only one other complaint...$100...really? My "technologically advanced" Kelty was less than this. But there are not very many options for small carriers...so there u go.

I wish I had gotten it sooner because it's made well. Also since my baby wears sneakers, once she was in, it was hard to get her out. Her foot would always get stuck.

This is really grea for a first time piano learner who is young. The piano is does NOT sound like a real piano. But you can make out the tune being played. My son love babygrands and really enjoys that he has one himself. Its a perfect height and gift!

We bought this piano for my two year old daughter as a Christmas present and have been very happy overall. The piano is absolutely adorable- something you wouldn't mind having hang around the living room- and it was pretty straight forward to put together. When I read the reviews for the product, there were a couple complaints about sound quality. It sounds like a children's piano, but we weren't looking for anything professional. I think my only complaints about the product are the piano bench is a little hard for small children to balance themselves on and the piano has a smooth black finish which shows a lot of fingerprints. But then again, so does everything else when you have little ones so you just get used to wiping it down!

This was a Birthday gift for my toddler. This grand piano is the cutes and great learning tool for my 1yr old. It comes with a book to learn the keys. The keys are color coded for them to learn and a book of song to learn. It was not hard to put together. The only thing about piano is when you first get it brand new, it has a strong paint smell, but it goes away in 2 days. The keys are not as good, but it's a toddler toy! My son and i love this piano.

This is coming from a) someone who HATES to shop for clothes (jeans in particular) and b) just happened on the "Not Your Daughter's Jeans" store in all places...Manchester, Vermont!???? So I spot the name of the store coming out of a crummy outlet area restroom and figure...why not? It's raining and I'll go in this store for a while to see if the rain subsides. I am not particularly captivated by what seems to be a 12-year-old store clerk but the "hey we might have your size" display does grab my interest. Geeeeezzzzz what an emotional experience to a) try on a pair of jeans that are my size but are too big so I have to go a size smaller and b) love the size this company can actually fit. I got two pair and they seem to understand upper body too! 2 fabulous blouses to go with. I don't know how or why these product designers got their inspiration but(t) I am totally IN! Feel like jammies, look great, and maintain your dignity if you are not a size 2. P.S. Love the note inside the jeans...it will make you smile, because it is true.

I have purchased "Not Your Daughters Jeans" at my local up-scale department store for the last 5 years and have always been happy with their fit and durability, but not so keen on how expensive they are ($110 and up). the pair I purchased through Amazon were more than $25 less expensive and are identical to the ones sold at the higher price. While no one would want to see a video of me in my favorite jeans... I would recommend them to "women of a certain age" as the perfect solution to the not-so-perfect figure.

I purchased two of these flight bags for my sons for when we travel on long-weekend trips. We've found them to be surprisingly roomy, with plenty of compartments to separate their gear (game devices, iWhatevers, chargers, cellphones, etc), personal products, and clothing. They're sturdy, light-weight, and perfect for folks who want to one-bag it without wheels to insure carry-on status. They fit under plane seats with room to spare. They were able to pack enough for a 5-day trip in these bags (keeping in mind that we have a "less is more" philosophy while traveling). On several recent trips, the flight attendants were banning all wheeled bags (regardless of size) from being carried on due to space issues, we were able to walk right on without issues. Instead of fighting to beat the crowds to insure overhead space, now we relax while everyone else boards, then we walk right to our seats and put our bags underneath the seat in front of us. No more fighting for overhead space. A great purchase for us!

I have returned this item. It is very small and not worth the money. When the box arrived, I immediately knew there was a problem when I picked it up and discovered how light it was. I have the 25 inch Hovercraft and am very happy with it (except the logo is coming off). The in-flight bag is a joke. I received a FREE flight bag from Overseas Adventure Travel that put the Eagle Creek one to shame. Don't waste your money.
