Love this Carrier because it is light weight and small. PERFECT for areas like kitchens and shopping. I strap my baby on my back during grocery shopping and then my hands for free to corral my 4 and 2 year old...oh and my groceries :P My 10 month old can fit fine and I can carry him for hours. He's a big kid too...wearing 12-18mo clothes. No back aches! There are only two things they could improve the design on. First: a handle on the back above the pocket. There is nothing to hang on to when taking the pack off, other than the pocket lid...which will wear out over time. and 2nd: the kick stand clicks shut but does NOT click open when setting down the carrier. I have found this dangerous at times when setting him on a smooth surface like wood or tile. The kick stand will start closing and the carrier can fall over very easily. So, be careful of that! I would buy this all over again for the purposes of around the house and tight areas. Only one other complaint...$100...really? My "technologically advanced" Kelty was less than this. But there are not very many options for small carriers...so there u go.

I have a fat baby and I got this for her when she was about 12 months old and about 23 pounds. She just fit. And now with the addition of a winter coat we can no longer get her into the carrier. I wish I had gotten it sooner because it's made well. Also since my baby wears sneakers, once she was in, it was hard to get her out. Her foot would always get stuck.

The Kokopax carrier is strong and lightweight. I cook meals, wash dishes and clean the house, while I carry my granddaughter on my back. She is happy to look over my shoulder, and watch what is going on. I get so much more done, with the freedom of both hands to do the task. The kokopax distributes the baby's weight comfortably for my back.
